Root Android and OEM Unlock

How are you, my blogger friends?

A few days ago, someone ask me about how to activate debugging on Android version 4.2.2 or Jellybean. I was drawn to comment while rooting android means that version. Android on Jellybean version is different from the ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) or previous version.Settings for debugging (Developer Options) at the Jellybean in hidden up,You must be activated before using this option.So that is a matter that needs to be done before you do the rooting on Android Jellybean .

Let's start ..!

Step I :

Before rooting (Root Privileges) then you have to enable USB Debugging menu for connecting the device to a PC or laptop,Please find as below :

1. Open the Settings Menu> scroll down select About Phone> Press 7x then continue

Press 4x again and exit the settings menu

2. Log Settings menu again to see the bottom of the menu options,You will see

Developer Options menu right above the About Phone

3. Click Developer Options> Select USB Debugging

In Developer Options menu there are Sub-menus will be utilized as needed

Completed the first step of way connect your Android to your PC or Laptop

Step II :

Download and install Mobogenie to your PC or Laptop Here

Why should Mobogenie? What are the benefits?

If you install Mobogenie, the advantage you get is that you no longer need to install drivers for your device to connect to a PC or laptop primarily for android IMO that can not automatically install the drivers on the PC and there is no official supports

After downloaded and installed you should restart your PC but if you want to directly use it is okay.

Mobogenie :

Open the application Mobogenie to enable USB Debugging on your Android, and plug the USB cable into the USB port on the PC, If not legible then switch to the other port.

Having read will automatically connect or select Connect My Phone on the left side of the application and after connect> select Oneclick Root

Wait until the status of your phone Rooted. To make sure your phone is already Rooted, installed Root Checker in Google Play Store via your mobile phone.

If you do Rooting with Super Oneclick applications such suggestion other blogger friends then you will encounter problems about compatibility of Exploit for your mobile phone or the application will be stopped at Step 7. If the problem only in Step 7 stops then you can repeat it to 7x but when it was done and fail then you should use Mobogenie.

In the case of rooting android IMO S88 Discovery II - Jellybean, the main problem is driver support, you have to download drivers and IMO files then flashing your IMO. After Flashing,The status of your IMO still Half Rooted and for Full Rooted need to get done Root via ADB.

This method requires a longer time because of the steps required are:

1. Enable USB Debugging

2. Download Driver & Extract IMO Files

3. Download Flashing Tools / Super Oneclick then install

4. Root via ADB

While if you do Rooting with Mobogenie, Step required is:

1. Enable USB Debugging

2. Download and Install Mobogenie

In the other case of rooting IMO S88 - Quadcore / IMO Discovery II with FramaRoot be constrained by compatibility Exploit.Please choose the way you like

There are many threads in the forum android about how to enable OEM Unlock on Asus Zenfone Go (ZC500TG).Since OS 5.1 Lollipop released by Google, OEM Unlock feature on Asus Zenfone no longer exists for security reasons. How to trick enable OEM Unlock feature on Asus Zenfone Go?

You need following file :

Step I :

1. Asus Android Driver (8.487 KB),Download here : Asus Driver

2. Check your Firmware Version (Software Image).If the version is WW_V12.1.0.47 ,You must down grade to WW_V12.1.0.36 version.Get here : Firmware SKU Only

Step II :

1. Install USB Driver to your PC / Laptop and restart after installing driver

2. Open your device and Activate USB Debbuging.Setting > About Phone > Build Number - Press 7 times,Then back to Developer Option (Development) > Check USB Debugging and OEM Unclock

3. Connect your USB Cable to PC/Laptop and connecting to your phone

4. Save Firmware WW_V12.1.0.36 to your phone storage (Do not to SD Card)

5. Unplug the USB cable from your phone and reboot

6. Boot your phone in recovery mode.Push and hold power button & Volume UP (+) until vibrate.

Choose Recovery Mode with Volume Up (+) or Down (-) then choose install update and search

WW_V12.1.0.36 file.Wait until finish

Sejak diluncurkan oleh Google,Jellybean banyak di ulas oleh para bloggers karena OS Android versi ini terbilang down-grade.Beberapa kesulitan muncul akibat menghilangnya beberapa features seperti :

1.File management yang lebih rumit seperti adanya Folder Storage sebagai media
   penyimpanan. Dulu media penyimpanan hanya terbagi menjadi SD Card
   dan System.Lalu sekarang menjadi SD Card, Storage dan System.
   Storage masih dibagi dalam sub-folder yaitu : emulated,Sdcard01 dan sdcard02

2.Setting Ringtone dan Notifikasi yang bersifat custom dari lagu tidak otomatis
ditambah dalam pilihan media

3.Menu USB Debugging yang tersembunyi.

   Meski system operasi sama yaitu Jellybean namun tidak semua
   merk smartphone memiliki setting yang sama dalam mengaktifkan
   USB Debugging sehingga butuh uji coba untuk melakukan hal itu

4.Aplikasi yang movable.Setelah versi Ginger Bread ke atas,Google menghilangkan
   feature movable aplikasi dari internal ke external (Memory Card) tetapi pada versi
   Honey Comb dan ICS tidak terlalu sulit dipindahkan bila device sudah Rooted.
   Pada versi Jellybean meski sudah Rooted belum tentu bisa dipindahkan

Untuk melihat lebih dalam system file maka anda harus melakukan rooting agar dapat memiliki hak akses penuh ke system dan untuk melakukan rooting diperlukan aktivasi USB Debugging agar device anda bisa berkomunikasi/terhubung dengan PC/laptop.

Setelah saya pelajari ternyata untuk aktivasi USB Debugging hanya ada 2 cara dan saya gunakan 2 merk smartphones yang nantinya bisa menjadi panduan atau pilihan setting :

1. IMO S88 – Discovery

Buka menu Setting > About Phone (Paling bawah) > click 7 X dan lanjutkan
click 4X, Kembali ke menu Setting,Anda akan menemukan menu pilihan
Developer Options tepat berada di atas menu About Phone

2. Advan S5E

    Buka menu Setting> About Phone (Paling bawah) >Click 1X > pilih Build
    Kernel dan Click 7 X.Kembali ke menu Setting,Anda akan menemukan menu
    pilihan Developer Options tepat berada di atas menu About Phone

Cara aktifkan USB Debugging diatas juga berlaku untuk vendor smartphones :

4. Driver. Secara umum driver akan otomatis ter-install saat dihubungkan dengan
    PC tetapi dalam banyak kasus untuk smartphone IMO seringkali harus cari
    driver-nya dulu.Ada cara mudah untuk menghindari kesulitan mencari driver IMO
    dan akan saya bahas selanjutnya

Kita bahas satu-persatu :

1. Super Oneclick

Setelah install di PC lalu buka,Aktifkan USB Debugging pada Android anda lalu
colokkan kabel USB ke PC.Tunggu hingga driver ter-installed

Setelah ter-installed,Pilih menu Root pada Super Oneclick yang telah anda buka
dan tunggu hingga

Selesai.Bila berhasil check dengan Root Checker (download di Playstore)
untuk memastikan android anda sudah ter- rooted.

Kadang saat rooting dengan Super Oneclick ada masalah di #Step 7 berhenti,
Bila hal ini terjadi tutuplah aplikasi lalu copot kabel USB dan sambungkan kembali
ke PC dan ulangi Root.

Pada kasus tertentu hal ini perlu di ulangi hingga 7 kali berturut-turut.
Andai setelah 7 kali berturut-turut tetaqp gagal maka anda disarankan ganti aplikasi ke Framaroot

2. Framaroot

Download Framaroot dan install di Android anda.

Buka aplikasi dan lakukan root. Setelah selesai check dengan Root Checker (Playstore)

Bila gagal berarti ada masalah dengan Exploit jadi sebaiknya gunakan Oneclick Root

3. Oneclick Root

Download dan install Mobogenie PC.Buka aplikasinya alau colokkan Kabel USB

Pilih Ponsel Saya (My Phone) dan click “Hubungkan telepon saya” .
Setelah terhubung pilih menu dibagian sebelah kanan > Oneclick Root
dan tunggu hingga selesai

Oneclick Root masih Versi Beta tapi sangat mudah digunakan dan efektif untuk melakukan rooting
